A number of seminars were organised recently by Memstar distributor, Columbit in the Stellenbosch and Worcester areas of South Africa.

At these, winemakers were met by visiting Memstar director, David Wollan who introduced Memstar's unique membrane based wine technologies and showed how these can be used to adjust alcohol, concentrate flavours and remove taints.

Columbit's new mobile service rig was so displayed. This unit offers the full range of Memstar services and can travel to client wineries where Columbit's trained operators will treat clients' wines on-site.
